This Sunday is Father’s Day. Being a good dad is being a good example. May God help us to be good fathers and follow Jesus’s steps! “we would follow His steps.” Happy Father’s Day!
This Sunday is Father’s Day so I want to congratulate each one and assure them of our love and prayers. Fathers carry a big burden of providing for their family and doing all they can to help the family run smoothly. I remember how hard my father worked, and for that I am very grateful. But it is not just the money part of it that is important; it is also how we live, what sort of an example are we and how well do we teach our children about the Lord. I read about a father who took his young son with him to the restaurant. The clerk asked the man, “What will you have?” The man replied, “A glass of beer.” Then the clerk asked the little boy, “And what will you have?” The lad replied, “The same thing.” “Wait a minute, the father said, “cancel the order.” Being a good dad is being a good example. In I Peter 2:21 we are told that Jesus left us an example so that “we would follow His steps.” May God help us to be good fathers and follow Jesus’ steps!
